Power-Ups

Best Fiends has several different Power-Ups that can be used in addition to the Fiends' own powers to help you win levels.

Where can I get Power-Ups?

You can get Power-Ups from Event rewards, Daily Gift Calendar, Player Gifts, ads, or in-game purchases. You can purchase them with Gold or acquire them as a part of other item bundles.

How do I use them?

Once you have Power-Ups, they can be selected before starting a level when you view the level requirements.

Here you see three pre-selected Power-Ups that you can toggle on and off. The pre-selected options cannot be changed and they are offered based on the level you're about to play.

The selected Power-Ups will be automatically added to the board once the level starts. After this, they can be included in a match with blocks of any colour to activate them!

Selected Power-Ups will stay selected for the next level you play, so if you want to change your selection, you should do so before pressing Play.

Rush Rocket

Rush Rockets target an entire row!
Make a match that includes a Rush Rocket and the Power-Up will help you deal damage to an entire row of blocks! Upon activating, the Rush Rocket damages one block above and below, and then launches two horizontal rockets in opposite directions. These rockets clear normal blocks completely and help you damage stronger obstacles. They cannot go through all obstacles, though, so use them wisely!

Triple Blast

Triple Bast sets off multiple explosions!

When you include a Triple Blast Power-Up in your match, the Power-Up will separate into three bombs that will jump to nearby areas, causing an explosion where they land! You can never have too many bombs to help you win the level!

Mystic Staff

Mystic Staff zaps targets across the board!

Include the Mystic Staff Power-Up in your match and the Power-Up will unleash magical energy on the board. When the Mystic Staff activates, it will first cause damage to adjacent blocks vertically and horizontally. After that, it will send out magical beams to a variety of targets across the board. Embrace your inner Howie with this magical power!

Double Bloom

Double Bloom doubles all regular blocks! Twice!

Include Double Bloom in your match and it will turn all of the regular blocks across the board to double blocks! After you have made a match to collect some of the transformed blocks, the power will activate again and any new normal blocks that fall into the level will be transformed into double blocks again. If you have ever had trouble collecting enough blocks of a specific colour, this is the Power-Up for you!

Like most Converters, Double Bloom can also be used to start the match. The Power-Up also only affects unselected blocks on the board, so it is a good idea to start the match with the Power-Up to get maximum benefits from the converted blocks!

Slug Spray

Slug Spray does major damage to Slugs!

This Power-Up is an essential tool for anyone who wants to improve their ability to defeat Slugs. If you're faced with an army of Slugs, or a particularly pesky Boss Slug, the Slug Spray will definitely come in handy. 

When activated, the Slug Spray will immediately destroy a weak Slug, and cause great damage to a Boss Slug. Simply include the Slug Spray in a match, and watch the Slug above the level get sprayed and defeated! As an added bonus, the Power-Up block also damages adjacent blocks around it.
