How do I update my device's Operating System?

To update your device's Operating System, follow the steps under the relevant section below. 

 

First make sure your device is plugged into a charger when performing Operating System updates.

 

On iOS

1. Open the Settings app on your device
2. Scroll down to General and tap it
3. Tap on Software Update
4. Download and install the update, if one is available

 

On Android

1. Tap the Menu button and open Settings
2. Find and tap on About device
3. Tap on Software Update
4. Tap on Update now
5. Download and install the update, if one is available

 

On Fire Phone

1. Find and tap on Settings
2. Scroll down to Device and tap on it
3. Tap on Install System Updates
4. Download and install the update, if one is available

 

On Kindle Fire

1. Pull down the top menu and tap on Settings
2. Scroll down to Device Options and tap on it
3. Tap System Updates
4. Download and install the update, if one is available
