If the game is giving you an error when trying to connect to Facebook, please follow the steps below to try to get it working again.
Before trying the troubleshooting steps below, please make sure that:

Your Best Fiends app is up-to-date. Please check your app store to see if there is an update available.

If you are using the Facebook App, please make sure that it is up-to-date. Please check your app store to see if there is an update available.

Please make sure that you are not using a “Deactivated” Facebook account.

If you are using your device’s web-browser to connect to Facebook, please clear your browser’s data/cache. Instructions on how to do this can be found below:
ANDROID

Select Applications (or Apps or Application Manager, depending on your device)

Find your browser from the this menu, tap it, and select "Clear Cache" (this might read "Clear Data").
iOS

If you are using Safari, go to your device’s Settings, Find Safari, and select “Clear History and Website Data”

If you are using Chrome, please open the Chrome browser, tap the menu button (at the top-right corner of the screen (indicated by three lines), select “Settings”, select “Privacy”, and under “Clear Browsing Data” select “Clear All”.
First Troubleshooting Steps
If you are using the Facebook App

If applicable, Sign out from Facebook in Best Fiends (Settings > Facebook > Sign out...)

Shut down the game
-
Restart your device

Sign out from the Facebook App and shut down the app

Launch the Facebook App again and sign in to Facebook
-
Close any apps running in the background (except the Facebook App).

Launch the game and try the sign in-process again
Please try signing in from the game a few times (e.g. 5 times) back-to-back. Sometimes it won't work on the first attempt.
If you are using your device's web browser for Facebook

If applicable, Sign out from Facebook in Best Fiends (Settings > Facebook > Sign out...)

Shut down the game

Clear your browser data/cache as described above

Log in to Facebook in your browser

Close any apps running in the background (except your browser running Facebook)

Launch the game and try the sign-in process again
Please try signing in from the game a few times (e.g. 5 times) back-to-back.

Remove permissions from Best Fiends in Facebook using a web browser

Sign out from Facebook in the game.

Login to Facebook on a web browser and go to your Facebook settings. (Top right corner arrow ).

Click on 'Apps' to change the settings for the app. (Left menu)

Find the Best Fiends game in the list.

Click on the 'x' to remove the permissions.

Redo the “First Troubleshooting Steps" above.
If none of the steps above help, please contact us through the game or at Support@Seriously.com , describing the issue in detail (e.g. How the game behaves: does the game relaunch, does the game crash, or does it give you an error message?). If possible, please send us a screenshot of the error message from the game, if you are being shown one.
