Your Fiends need Energy to complete their journey to Mt.Boom!
Your currently available energy and Energy Cap are displayed in the top left corner of the screen. For example, if your energy meter shows 16/20, you have 16 available energy, and your Energy Cap is 20.
Each level costs a certain amount of Energy to start. This is shown in the level briefing screen underneath the Start! button.
WHEN YOU RUN OUT OF ENERGY
Energy recharges for free over time, so simply wait to get more of it! You can also spin the Fiend of Fortune to win some extra energy when you're running low.
Additionally, if you are connected to Facebook, you are also able to ask your friends for Energy through gifting! To do this, access the Energy Shop by pressing the Energy icon in the top left corner of the game screen, navigate down to Ask Friends for Energy, and tap the Ask button.
Please note, though, that you can only ask for Energy when your available energy meter is not full.
You can also buy an instant Energy refill from the Energy Shop if you are craving to play more. In addition to an Energy Refill, you can also purchase more Maximum Energy for Gold (which will also refill your Energy meter on purchase).
Finally, if you feel like playing for a longer stretch all at once, there's also the option to purchase Infinite Energy for 3 hours!
RETAINING ENERGY WHEN YOU WIN
After completing level 20, you retain energy for completing the newest world map level available to you. Energy is returned in the amount that was used to play the completed level. For example, playing level 75 costs 4 Energy. If this level is completed, you will get your 4 Energy back, provided that this was the newest level available to you.
Energy is not returned when playing previously completed World Map levels, Lug's Lootballoon, or the Fiend Quest levels.
TOP ENERGY TIP!
If you have changed your mind about the type of level you want to play, you can exit the level without losing Energy if you have not made a single move. For instance: if you open the level but then you realize that you wanted to instead complete Whisper's Quest, simply pause the game and select Give Up.
Please note that it works only if you have not made any move yet.
Leaving the level this way will also cause the Purple and the Red Bandit Slug to move further away on the map if the Minutia's Most Wanted event is active.
